Heartwood Kitchen and Bath is a "green" kitchen and bathroom design company. We design kitchens and bathrooms that fit our customer's vision and budget, and complete design projects with environmentally friendly building materials. Now, we are seeking a Managing Director to oversee our human resources and finance operation. The Managing Director's Key Responsibilities will include: · Create and implement long- and short-term finance management strategies, and monitor the financial health of the company, · Develop and implement HR strategies, and responsible for day-to-day HR operations, · Assess current policies and procedures at the company and make changes to meet the requirements of laws and regulations, · Provide directions for HR and finance employees in performing work tasks and allocate financial resources for employee training needs, · Participate in meetings with the management to discuss and determine budgets in HR and finance management, · Gather important information to create HR and finance reports, and submit them to the management, · Interview high-potential applicants, hire and arrange appropriate training for future HR and finance employees. Qualifications · Completion of college diploma. · 5+ years of experience as Managing Director in human resources and finance management. · Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, team player and initiative. Language English. Job Type Full-time and permanent. Work Location In person at Unit 9, 210 Colonnade Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2E 7L5. Schedule Monday to Friday, at least 30 hours per week. Salary $48.25 - $53.25 per hour. Benefit Two weeks of paid vacation every year.
