Essential duties and responsibilities : Performs housekeeping chores within the facility and grounds, sweeping, shoveling, and general clean up. : Required to operate various pieces of equipment ranging from forklifts to telehandlers. Any experience on larger machines is a plus. : Assist mechanical team with duties and repairs as needed. : Participates in company training programs and related testing. Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives. : Perform all work in compliance with Company standards and procedures requirements. Job Requirements Education and Experience : A high school diploma or GED. : Prior experience in a warehouse or an industrial environment with a stable work history. : Ability to operate a forklift, training will be offered for other equipment. Certifications and Licenses : Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license. Competencies, Skills, and Abilities : The ability to work from written and verbal instructions : Execute product transfer orders, work orders, and associated paperwork. : Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules. : Ability to take initiative and work with co:workers to accomplish defined goals in a fast paced environment. Physical demands : Physical requirements include but may not be limited to walk up and down stairs/ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces and carry up to 50 pounds. : Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions majority of the time will be working outside. : Must be able to wear standard PPE (Hard Hat, Goggles, Rain Gear, Steel Toe Boots), and qualify to wear a Full Face Respirator. : Ability to wear a half mask or full face respirator as needed Working conditions : Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions : Work will be event mix of inside shop environment and outdoors. This position will provide opportunity for advancement to other crafts.
