DBA Fa-Alnahhas Ltd. is looking for a General Construction Supervisor Title: General Construction Supervisor NOC: 72021 Location: Surrey, BC Salary: $43.00 per Hour Terms of Employment: Full Time/Temporary Positions Available: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Job Requirements: · Education: Completion of Secondary Education is required. · Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field. Job Duties: · Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate construction, paving, drilling, and other similar heavy equipment. · Create and monitor schedules for each worker and ensure that the worker has physical and mental ability to cope. · Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions; providing non-project annual operating and capital budget information. · Requisition or ordering materials and supplies. · Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity. · Preparing schedules, work progress, production and other reports. · Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. · Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions and train or arrange training for workers. · May also supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and laborers.
