Project Manager : Renewables Location: Blackburn, Lancashire (Hybrid Working Available) Job Type: Full:Time Salary: GBP 45,000 per annum + Car Allowance About the Company An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join the renewables division of a well:established multidisciplinary consultancy. This growing team delivers commercial solar PV, battery storage and integrated renewable energy systems across the UK. About the Role This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager looking to take full responsibility for delivering renewable energy projects ranging in value from GBP 100,000 to GBP 2 million. You will manage projects from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery. This is a client:facing role requiring excellent organisational, leadership and commercial skills. Salary and Benefits - GBP 45,000 base salary - Company vehicle or car allowance ( GBP 4,000: GBP 6,000) - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Company laptop, phone and home office support - Hybrid and flexible working arrangements - Optional private healthcare - Ongoing CPD and training - EV salary sacrifice scheme - Clear career progression opportunities - Employer pension contributions (typically 3:5) Key Responsibilities - Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, scheduling, installation, commissioning and handover - Develop and monitor project programmes, cost tracking and reporting - Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards - Manage budgets, project variations and payment applications - Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships - Lead regular progress meetings and ensure project milestones are met - Support tendering and pre:construction activities when required - Implement process improvements and drive subcontractor performance Requirements - Proven experience managing construction or building services projects.
