Careermakers are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a strong M&E background to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects. Your role will involve estimating and monitoring project costs, conducting cost analysis, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. Responsibilities - Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects - Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process - Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors - Prepare and submit progress payment claims - Provide advice on contractual matters related to costs - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost control measures are implemented - Prepare final accounts upon project completion Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field - Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with M&E background - Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail - Effective communication and negotiation skills Job Type: Full-time Pay:£60,000.00-£65,000.00 per
