You will be responsible for providing exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention while managing a team. Ideal Requirement for an Orthopaedic Team Leader * RN or ODP qualification * Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes * Competence across a range of either surgical, anaesthetic, or post-anaesthesia, management and leadership skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge. * Working as a perioperative practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams. Role Responsibilities for an Orthopaedic Team Leader * Compare current perioperative practices, trends, and developments against appropriate benchmarks. * Ensure that legislation, policies, and procedures are correctly applied within the perioperative team. * Clearly identify the wider benefits that develop knowledge, ideas, and work practices. * Make and present to the senior theatre managers recommendation on effective use of resources and improvement opportunities, maximise effective theatre utilisation.
