Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals Assistance and support to attend medical appointments Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities. Complete daily administration including updating person centred support& care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes. Maintains professional relationships whilst developing a good rapport with the people who use our service, their family, colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders. Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards. To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed. Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes Qualifications and Skills It is ESSENTIAL that you hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have your own vehicle to commute to our site due to the location being extremely remote and no bus routes available. Not holding this will not enable you to proceed with your application. It offers residential support for 25 people with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, and other associated needs. We can also support people who are on the autism spectrum and those who have physical disabilities. We are in a rural location, surrounded by lovely views and beautiful countryside.
