ASSEMBLY FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Assembly Fitter to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is up to A GBP 13.00 per hour (annual salary just over A GBP 30,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once youve passed a probation period. The hiring manager would like someone who has some experience within carpentry or joinery, or someone who has previous woodworking / band saw / nail gun experience and may have operated a CNC Wood Routing machine, or similar. This role could also be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician who has a passion for working with vehicles. What You Will Do: * Assemble components into vehicles with precision and attention to detail. * Measure, cut, and install parts using hand and power tools such as spanners and drills. * Work from and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. * Complete supporting paperwork to document your work and progress. * Contribute to the teams success by ensuring high:quality standards are met in every task. What You Will Bring: * Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. * Strong skills in using hand and power tools effectively and safely. * Ability to read and understand technical drawings with confidence. * A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail. * A passion for working with vehicles or similar mechanical systems (desirable but not essential). * A Full UK Driving License (Essential) This company is known for its commitment to quality and innovation.
