What You Will Do: : Complete electrical fitting, assembly, integration, and test tasks for vehicles in line with manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. : Ensure the integrity of vehicle systems, sub:systems, and line replaceable units (LRUs) through basic tests and fault finding. : Read and interpret technical drawings to understand specifications and materials required for tasks. : Complete technical reports and support the Quality department as needed. : Maintain a safe and efficient working area, adhering to 5S requirements and production schedules. : Perform crane operation and lifting tasks following safe working practices. The role will be working a rotational shift pattern consisting of 6am/2pm Monday to Friday then 2pm: 12 midnight Monday to Thursday. Friday off. Basic salary of A GBP 38,056 plus 20 shift allowance(A GBP 45667) with an excellent benefit package on offer. What You Will Bring: : Level 2 qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience. : Significant assembly experience in a mechanical engineering or production environment within a similar industry. : Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications. : To be able to pass UK MOD SC security clearance. : Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently. : A motivated, disciplined work ethic with a continuous improvement mindset.
