Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: Wigan Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8:30 AM : 4:00 PM (30:minute lunch break) Contract Type: Full:time, Long:term Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to support a Year 6 class in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Wigan, This full:time, long:term HLTA position is ideal for someone ready to take on more responsibility while still supporting class teaching and pupil development. The successful HLTA will be a key part of the Year 6 team, helping to deliver a smooth, structured, and inspiring curriculum in preparation for SATs. This role starts ASAP and may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. About the HLTA Role: * The HLTA will support the class teacher and cover lessons when required. * The HLTA will support classroom routines, planning support where necessary and assessing pupil progress. * The HLTA will work collaboratively with teachers, senior leaders, and external professionals. The Ideal HLTA Will: * Have recent experience supporting in upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. * Be confident supporting or delivering lessons in the teachers absence. * Be a proactive, professional, and committed HLTA. * Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills. Requirements for the HLTA: * Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing ). * Two references covering the last two years. * Right to work in the UK. * Availability for full:time, long:term work as a HLTA.
