The applicant should have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience along with 2-3 years of experience. The applicant should be responsible for the following job duties and tasks as part of this job. · Develop promotional materials · Manage contracts · Market business services · Plan and control budget and expenditures · Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials · Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs · Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations · Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations · Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services · Answer written and oral inquiries · Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material · Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions · Initiate and maintain contact with the media · Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts · Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support We pay competitive wages $54.36 to $60.00 hourly and 40 hours/week as per experience.
